Geneva McDaniel Coates

Geneva McDaniel Coates, 65, of Ruckersville, VA died on Wednesday, May 23, 2012 at her residence. She was born on July 25, 1946 to the late Richard and Virgie Shifflett McDaniel.

She is survived by her son, Lillard “Leo” Lawson, Jr. and his wife, Kathy of Arvonia, VA, her grandson, Erick Lawson, step-grandsons, James and Paul Yonts, three great grandsons, Cody, Hunter and Bryson Yonts, three sisters, Lorrine Hickman, Mary Anna Lawson and Retha Davis and numerous loving nieces, nephews, family and friends.

The family will receive friends on Friday, May 25, 2012 from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. at Ryan Funeral Home, 12819 Spotswood Trail Ruckersville, VA 22968.

A funeral service will be held on Saturday, May 26, 2012 at 11 a.m. at Ryan Funeral Home with Pastor Ricky Jackson officiating.

Interment will follow in Eheart Cemetery.
